Boys Lacrosse is a contact sport, so protective
equipment is an absolute must.
So,
you're ready to become a lacrosse player? Then here's a list of required
equipment you will need before you hit the field. The primary manufacturers of
lacrosse equipment are Cascade, Warrior, Brine, and STX. Most of the items
below are considered entry level gear, which is ideal for beginners. The
products below are merely suggested gear. You do not have to purchase the exact
item shown.
Starter Packages of Pads and Gloves are available for younger players, and will
save you a few bucks compared to purchasing the items separately. The suggested
sticks are complete sticks, which include shaft and head. Boys and Girls stick
heads are different, so if you're not sure which is which, then ask a
salesperson. We recommend that you purchase a 2010 compliant stick head.
Hockey Equipment is NOT acceptable.
