Nondestructive Sawing Trainer

About NdST This is a Nondestructive Sawing Trainer for primary hardwood processing that will enable a sawyer to examine different log orientations and sawing patterns on the same log or on different logs in a nondestructive way, with immediate feedback on lumber value recovery (grade of each lumber piece, price, and volume in board feet of each lumber grade). The lumber grading is based on the National Hardwood Lumber Association (NHLA) grading rules. This software will provide the sawyer with a capability to experiment and learn about different log orientations during sawing or different breakdown patterns, and their consequence.  The feedback and sawing pattern from each training session will be saved, and the user can use this data as a reference in the future practice or research.
