What’s this all about?

 

The data collected from this survey is for a new book on pregnancy – written predominately from a man’s perspective but taking into account both partners views and feelings.

 

We want to get the views of all dads to be, recent dads to be and even not so recent dads to be. We wish to explore and test some of the stereotypical views on dads.

 

But also just as important; we want mum's view too. It’s important that we gather data on both partners’ experiences of the pregnancy: do both partners feel the same way? Do they have the same concerns, fears and worries?

 

Your input is invaluable and so much appreciated. The survey should only take a few minutes (or possibly longer if you fantastically decide to write more detailed comments). Data collected will be used in the book. Selected comments may also be edited and printed in the book in the form of ‘case studies’.  Any names supplied during the survey may be published (however you may use aliases rather than your real name to remain anonymous).

 

When completing the survey, please try and be as open, honest and objective as possible. Do not be persuaded by your partners views; if at all possible complete your relevant surveys separately.

 

You don’t necessarily have to answer every single question; just answer the ones that you feel you can give input to if you prefer.
