Course Description

1. Teach students who want to learn the basic concepts of multimedia content, and understand the state-of-the-art techniques for multimedia compression and retrieval.

Evaluation

1. Term project (30%).

2. Midterm exam (30%).

3. Paper presentation (40%): every one has to select 1 paper (from the paper list given in this web site) and present around 30-40 minutes.
