Welcome!

Welcome to Miss Lyzenga's Art Class webpage.  Here you will be able to find handouts, assignments, and resources to assist you in creating your art.

If you have any questions about the homework, please contact me at: anni.lyzenga@polk-fl.net and I will be happy to assist you.

This year art students will either be in the 6th grade class or a 7th/8th grade mixed class.  6th grade students will work on basic design skills using media such as watercolor, paper, colored pencils, pencil, etc. whereas the 7th/8th grade art class will focus on advanced design skills to prepare them for a high school art class.  Every day students will need to bring their sketchbook, which we will be creating in class, and 2-3 sharpened pencils.
