North Branch of the Chicago River

This page collects in one place our Muddy Waters research on the North Branch.  Each team should do the following:

Create a wiki page as a subpage of this one.  Label it with your team name.

Near the top of the page create a link that will take the visitor to the *other* team’s North Branch subpage.  On that subpage, answer the following with respect to your North Branch research.
  • Succinctly (in one or two sentences) state your research question.
  • What have you done thus far? (a list, with very brief explanations)
  • What are you still planning to do?  (a list, with very brief explanations)
  • What questions, problems, or issues did you have to work through successfully to get to this point?
  • What questions, problems, issues, or concerns are as yet unresolved?
  • Provide brief site reports on each of the locations where you sampled.  You need not write a complete report for each site!  In this situation, we are mainly interested in helping future field personnel know what to anticipate before they go to the field.  Limit your report to the most salient points.
Note: Your responses to these bulleted items should appear directly on the page—not as an attachment!  All team members should edit the content of the page so that it is truly a group product.  The wiki records the editing history of each page so all can review it.  We want to see every team member contribute to this effort.   As a result, you need not post a complete and polished version--in fact, we would like to watch the progress of your work as it develops.

If you have questions about how to proceed, either e-mail them or write them out (and highlight them) on the wiki page.
