After 8-1/2 years at our current digs, we're heading down the street to a new home April 1st. Stay tuned for more info as we are putting together a video soon to tell you all about it. We will say though that it is a nicer space (newer) with great parking, easier access, and hey...we will still have a fireplace! Plus the same phone number (still in Hayden). A 9:30 KONA Performance.......Way To Go DEREK GARCIA !!!
Big congratulations go out to our own Derek Garcia for his outstanding performance at the 2011 Ironman World Championships in Kona, Hawaii on Saturday, October 8th. An 18 minute improvement over his 2010 time, we are all so proud of Derek and all of his hard work and dedication. Derek continues to experience the rewards of all of his hard work, and we at Mountain View Cyclery are proud to be simply a small part of the equation in his quest for success. But more importantly, we are privileged to be associated with an athlete of such great character. Derek, we love you and wish you the best in your continued success...dude, you rock!

On a great Kona Performance at the IRONMAN 2010 World Championships!!
Mountain View Cyclery sponsored athletes Derek Garcia and Jeff Smith both pull out sub 10's in their first trip to the big island: Post Falls Derek Garcia sets a new PR by 18 minutes with a 9:48, while Jeff Smith (now of Boulder, CO) comes in at a blazing 9:40 in only his second Ironman, beating his CDA time of 9:43.
Big congratulations to both of you studs for your personal record setting performances, along with a big kudos to our friend Paul Burke of the CDA Press for finishing strong in what was also his first trip to
the Queen-K. Everyone at Mountain View Cyclery as well as all triathletes in North Idaho are very proud of you guys. Do it again next year...we'll be rooting for you!!
