Members are encouraged to train for as many different positions as they can.  We have a shortage of Mission Base Staff and Flight Line personnel, and most of this training can be completed while you are at Mission Base awaiting deployment for other positions.  All Emergency Services personnel can and should be Mission Staff Assistants and Flight Line Marshallers, and there are several other positions that are available to both Seniors and Cadets.  All Aircrew members are encouraged to be UDF Qualified.

The Wing currently has a shortage of qualified Ground Team personnel.  Squadron Commanders are encouraged to develop ground assets in order to support our overall mission.  Remember that we also have a Disaster Relief function in Emergency Services, and boots on the ground are a necessary part of that mission.
