I created this site to be a reference for students at MSU who wish to use LaTeX for writing their thesis/dissertation. I wrote a style guide to be used with the LaTex editor and operating system of your choice. Please some time to read things hereing and make contributions that will benefit those who come after you. Just email me and I will add you as a collborator.
For navigation in this site, please use either the site search function or the sitemap. -- 20-Oct-2009 -- I have made some changes to the style file in the last couple months. This is to address spacing issues in the preliminary matter. I also just posted changes to make the numbering scheme more pleasing. DGE approved having figure numbers like 1.1, 1.2, .. 2.34, 2.35, 3.1, etc. for figures, table, equations and algorithms. This is now the default option. If you want to return to the old numbering scheme simply put 'numreset' as an input parameter to the class. Seth Humphries |
