what is a podcast, you might ask? Well, a podcast is rich media, such
as audio or video, distributed via RSS feeds. Feeds also provide updates
whenever there is new content, so you don't have to remember to go to a
site to check for new material. Our favorite German podcaster is Annik Rubens. Her main podcast, Schlaflos in München, is full of book and movie reviews, interesting news, and humor. For beginning German speakers, she has a second podcast, Slow German. The podcasts are short and sweet, and she speaks slowly and clearly on themes like "Deutsche Musik" and "Wohnung mieten." Excellent Online DictionariesOffline DictionaryFor those times when you need a definition but don't have access to the internet, download the free, cross-platform elcombri translator. Unfortunately, it does not come with a definition library, but you can download one from the dict.cc website.
