Homework Grades
Now that students are used to homework procedures, they will be receiving a grade out of 4 points on their homework assignments. So far, homework has come home with a check mark on it for credit but now that everyone is used to the system I will begin using this rubric:
4 Stars: Great! I did my very best!
3 Stars: Good! Room for improvement.
2 Stars: Fair. I will do better next time.
1 Star: Unsatisfactory. I will try harder
0: No attempt.
I will choose a couple of homework assignments per week to include in the grade book. I know some students, especially at the after school programs, are still mixing up their papers. I have been trying ...

Monday: Digital Music 10:45-11:25
Tuesday: P.E. 8:27-9:15
Wednesday: P.E. 8:27-9:15
Thursday: Library 8:27-9:15
Friday: Music 11:25-12:05

Take Home Folders
Students should be bringing a green Take Home Folder home each evening in their book bags. In this folder you will find a Behavior Calendar (please initial nightly!), newsletters, daily homework, and school communication. Please help your child get in the habit of bringing this folder back and forth to school.
