This site houses worksheets, assignments, PowerPoint presentations, course glossaries, and other course components for Ms. Siarny's Social Studies classes at Media College Preparatory High School in Oakland, CA. ABOUT
Ms. Siarny holds an A.B. from the University of Chicago in History and an M.A.T. from American University in Secondary Social Studies. She studied abroad in Paris, France in 2006. Her fields of interests include: social and economic world trends, world trade patterns, literature as historical documents, early modern urban development, 17th and 18th century British colonialism, early modern European leisure culture, early modern origins of modern political and economic systems, architectural history (especially that of the Prairie School), and the history of Chicago.
