Inspiration

Several websites have inspired me over the years so I thought I'd provide some links to them here

Bent Objects: It's amazing what clever things you can do with everyday objects and bits of wire.

Peter Callesen: Simple sheets of paper, cut and folded to make 3D models.

Simon Schubert: So simple, why didn't I think of this first?

Concept Ships:Every time I look at this webpage it really makes me wish I had some talent and could actually draw.

A web page to detail all of my projects, providing links for downloads and for purchases

Back in 2008 Haruki Nakamura created this stunning paper gear heart, which I attempted to emulate and ultimately failed at. He has now released the plans for his working design and I have been given the privilege of being the English speaking vendor on his behalf. More information about how to build your own version of this project can be found here

Many people have seen both versions of the heart and the cube and have been asking me where they can purchase the cube from. A quick discussion with Haruki and I'm now proud to offer the paper gear cube plans from my website too. Those plans can be found here

Iron Man Arc Reactors

Finally a link to my Iron Man Arc Rectors, from here you will be able to get information about the arc reactors or purchase your own using paypal. Be sure to get those orders placed in time for halloween though.

NortHACKton ran an online competition to design a giant robot that we would then assemble and take to the UK Maker Faire in March. Since then I've had the task of building the winning design. Update photos and progress shots can be found here

Monster Under My Laptop is an interesting variation I've had on the theme of the monster under the bed. While looking for a new stand for my laptop I came up with the idea of filling the gap under the laptop with something a little more interesting. Like most of my ideas though, if you can see it you can buy it so these items have their own dedicated web page that can be found here

District 9 Weapon

In case you'd though it had been a little bit quiet around here lately, I now present to you my latest project. A long and highly detailed build rushed to you in time for Halloween, more to be found here and the usual instructable on how to build your own here.

Table mats

Wanting to make my CNC router pay for itself while I'm unemployed I have come up with a few ideas for items I can sell. These table mats are the first off the line, more pictures and information can be found here.

Working CNC Router

It may have taken much longer than expected but now that I have my very own workspace in our new house, I've been able to fine tune my CNC router and actually make it work. If you're in Kettering, UK, feel free to drop by and see me.

Iron Man Masks

Closely followed by links to my iron man mask. These two templates should get you started on building your own, although you'll have to scale them appropriately for your own face. Here and here as png files and here as a pdf.

Space Invaders at Work

Some time ago I made a space invader using 600 business cards at work, I need to update the gallery with more photos but here it is for now.

Paper Gear Heart

My failed attempt to build a heart can be seen in this gallery. You can now download the original and working plans from Haruki Nakamuri here
