How much is the stipend?
The stipend is $21.00/hr  before taxes 

When will I get my stipend?
You will receive your stipends by June 30, 2008.  For classes taken in July, you will receive them at the end of the month. 

 
Do I need to fill out a survey for each class that I attend?
Yes, you need to fill out the same survey for each session that you attend in order to receive your in-service credits. 

When will I receive my inservice credit?  
Once the sign-up sheet is submitted it can take up to 2 weeks.  

I'm having problems registering online, what can I do?
Please contact the professional development department to help you with registration. 

I have not received my follow up survey, what do I do?
If you have not received your follow up survey, go to the evaluation tab on you profile in EROS.  If one is not there, go to the survey page located on this website and press on the link.   

I can't access my school email from home, How do I get updates? 
The website will contain all updates for the classes that you will be offered a during the summer months.  Please check this website on a regular basis.

  

Is AIMS Included in the MSB? 
No, Aims is not included in the MSB. 

 

All of the excursions are full can I register for July class and go to the June Big Excursions? 
Yes, you can register for either June or July excursions and attend any of the Big Excursions. 

 

Can I drive on my own to the Big Excursions?
Yes, you can go on your own and meet the group at the excursion.  Just email us at and let us know of your arrangements.  Be sure to include the date, time and excursion.

 

Will lunch be provided? 
Unfortunately lunches and beverages are not funded by the grant.  Unless otherwise specified at certain sessions.  It is your responsibility to keep yourself nourished and hydrated. 

Can I bring my child to the excursion? You can bring your child to Big Ideas, 5,6 & 7.  You will not be able to on all other excursions.  These organizations have a limit on participants and fees that have been paid for by the grant. 

Can I just show up even if I'm on the waitlist?
Classes are based upon the availability of certain materials and presenters request.  You may show up but there is no guarentee that you will be able to participate. 

I can't make it to three morning classes and three afternoon classes, can I still attend the Big excursions? 

Due to the unbelievable popularity, only three classes need to be attended to join the big excursions, which can be taken in either June and/or July. 

I'm taking three sessions in June, but I want to attend the big Excursion in July.  Will I be able to?

Yes, you can participate in any of the June and July big excusions. 

Can I bring my friends and family to any of the excursions?

No you can not bring any family or friends to any of the excursion.  These organizations have a limit on participants and fees that have been paid for by the grant.  It also takes away opportunities for those on the waitlist to attend.
