We knew each other in college however it was a chance meeting a few years later that would bring us two together. Now we are trying to figure out how to bring our two worlds together and start our life.

The Feel of our wedding
For now, we are considering a Fall, rustic with a modern twist, wedding. Not really sure how I am going to do this yet. We plan on using browns, a range of burnt oranges & burnt terra cotta, maybe cream and accenting with gold. Oak leaves, branches, pine cones being used throughout the decor and invites. This all might change 50 times. Below is some looks & feels that we would like to go with.
The Proposal
Where
In Disneyland at the Exclusive Club 33 (for those that may not have heard of this, it is located inside New Orleans Square next to the Blue Bayou. It is the only place in Disneyland you need a club membership and allowed to have alcoholic beverages, yummy :)
How
After dessert the maitre d’ came over to ask who has not been to Club 33. I was the only one at the table that had not been, Russ’s family has been there a few times. The maitre d’ wanted to take Russ & I out to the balcony where we would overlook New Orleans Square & the River. It’s amazing! It’s dark & all the lights of Disneyland are on. I was looking everywhere just in awe trying to soak in this experience since many never get the chance to do so. Russ’s brother took a picture of us sitting on a bench. I stood up again & was looking over the balcony, only to turn around and find Russ down on one knee. I grabbed his hands saying “What are you doing? What are you doing? Oh my god what are you doing?!” Then he asked me to marry him. The answer of course being YES!
Returning to the table I was greeted by Russ’s parents, brother, sister in-law and niece all welcoming me to the family. The maitre d’ sent us over a glass of champagne to celebrate along with a copy of the nights menu reprinted out with “Congratulations from Club 33” so we have a wonderful memento of the occasion, as if a ring wasn’t enough!
will you?
YES!
I didn't even give a chance to put the ring on
The Ring!
He knows I love cusion cut & did the rest himself!
