October 12th- A Message from Ms. Matoes
Over the past 2 weeks wehave really been enjoying reading fairy tales and fractured fairy tales. The play "Into the Woods" was a great kick off to this unit. Some students are already writing comic book summaries for their books and we will also be comparing and contrasting the fairy tales.
The students have been working hard on going through the writing process with their super hero stories, where the main character has super powers to make a difference in the world. They are excited to publish their stories by illustating their final copies, which are neatly written or typed.
