CBL Activity:

As part of the continuation of your learning of the Phases of the Moon~

Today you will:

Part 1: EXPLORE:
*Create a Graphic Illustration/Diagram of The Phases of The Moon using Technology Resources.

~Please be sure to include the angle/side viewpoint from Earth.

*To access the Resource: click on the link below:
This should direct you to the website and Diagram.

Part 2: EXPLAIN
 You will conclude this assignment by:
Completing a Detailed Explanation of this Diagram.
Write the explanation so that if you were to explain the Diagram to a friend~ he/she would be able to draw it without the picture.

Due Date:
Part 1 of the assignment is due TODAY.  (You will need to complete the Diagram)

Part 2 of the assignment will be due Wednesday (You will need to complete the Detailed Explanation for Homework)

GUIDING QUESTIONS:

This month (February), we will be Learning and Observing the PHASES OF THE MOON.  
For your Project~ you will:

CREATE AND Keep Track of a CALENDAR of The Phases of The Moon.

*You will observe and record the Moon's Phase EACH DAY.

YOU WILL USE THE CALENDAR AND BLACK CONSTRUCTION PAPER PROVIDED TO YOU IN CLASS.

*PLEASE keep up with this Calendar and it will also go in your Science Interactive Notebook.
