Office Hours:
You can find my weekly office hours posted in my classroom! I am available most mornings, but my afternoon availability changes frequently due to meetings - so please check the board to see when I am free! Seniors: If you have a half day or free 6th period - you can also schedule to meet with me then! Don't forget to take advantage of AcaPrep time during 2nd period and 5th period - you can always get a pass to come in then as well!
 
 A Little Bit About Me:
 
My educational background is that of a Bachelors Degree and Masters Degree from Northern Arizona University and I also hold a Reading Specialist Endorsement and a community college teaching certificate. I am thrilled to be an adjunct professor for Rio Salado College teaching ENG 101/102 and ENH 241/242 for dual enrollment on Mountain Ridge's campus.

I am honored to have been named a  Deer Valley Unified School District Teacher of the Year, PRIDE District winner, Outstanding Adjunct Faculty Award winner for Rio Salado College, and was inducted to the NCA Circle of Excellence for the State of Arizona.

I also serve as Language Arts Department Co-chair, SITE Council Member, and NCA Steering Committee Co-Chairperson for our high school.  In the past, I have served as a Society of Female Scholars Mentor and  Junior Class Student Government Sponsor.
