Course Description:  Psychology/Sociology will be covered in a variety of ways to meet each student’s individual learning style.  The first half of the year will focus on Psychology, with an emphasis on psychological research and analysis.  Sociology will be the subject for the remainder of the year, will a focus on class discussions and debates on sociological issues.  Throughout the year, basic material will be covered through textbook reading assignments and note taking from lectures.  In-depth material will be covered through outside readings, class discussions, class projects, and hands-on assignments.  Technology will be incorporated into this course whenever possible, specifically in the form of the Internet research.
