We have packets of this year's case for our competiton.  If you are interested in learning more, please stop by room 101 or room 115 BEFORE Thanksigiving break.  We can tell you more about our program or if you know you want to do it, we can give you this year's case packet.  It is a civil case on bullying in schools with the teacher being sued.

Transportation and Roster Changes for Monday, Feb 7th

posted Feb 1, 2011 3:20 PM by Tracey Kassin

Great job on Monday!  We hope you had fun and are proud of your work.  Everyone was very impressed with your work and we hope to have another solid outing next Monday.

Each of you will need to find transportation yourself for Monday's competiton.  If you know of any adults (parents, aunts/uncles, grandparents) that are free and wouldn't mind driving some students, please let me know.  They are welcome to stay and watch the case as well.  We are allowed to have people come and watch.  NO CELL PHONES THOUGH!!

Mr. Staffier and I have drafted a form we need each of you to fill out and return by Friday. It needs to be filled out by a parent/guardian.   If for some reason, you are having trouble finding a ride, let us know so we can work something out.

Lastly, let me know about any roster changes you want to make for Monday.

Let's try and look out for each other with this transportation issue!

Mock Trial Rehearsal

Mr. Staffier and I would like to have a full rehearsal on next Wed. Jan 19th immediately following exams.  We can meet in Mr. Staffier's room after the second exam breaks.  Both the prosecution and defense should be ready to go.

This is a mandatory rehearsal.  Just like in any sports game or performance production, you need to attend and participate in practice to be ready to compete and perform!  Check the google folder for tips and questions so you can prepare!  https://docs.google.com/?tab=3o&authuser=0#folders/folder.0.0B2bzs_eYaBX-ZDVkZDA2YjktODU0MS00MjJlLWExNGQtMWU0NjAyMzVkY2M5

Add Key Points to Google Doc

posted Dec 15, 2010 12:22 PM by Tracey Kassin

At today's meeting (12/15) we did not have enough people to work on identifying key components of each witness to the prosecution and defense.  Thus, we will have to work online.  Check your email and access the google doc entitled Attorney Witness Info and please add to it.

We will also meet Friday morning.

Let us know if you have any questions.  I know we are all busy but we need to work together as a team!  Go team!

Next meeting is Wed. Dec. 15th
