I am so excited to have the opportunity to teach 4th graders in Summerville!  I have been a teacher for ten years.  In the past, I have taught pre-school, 2nd, 3rd and 6th grade where I have gathered many great experiences and knowledge to share. 

I moved to South Carolina from Wyoming in 2006 after completing a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction.  I love my new home and feel fortunate to be enjoying all that this beautiful state has to offer.

I have a wonderful and supportive family, three great children...two of which are in college pursuing their own dreams.  I also love my new grandbaby who lives in Laramie, Wyoming.

I believe that every child has the right to a positive, safe educational experience...one that addresses and meets their individual needs and guides them to independence.

My goal as a teacher is to help my students to learn and enjoy learning; to think for themselves; and to appreciate and respect each other as unique and important parts of our classroom as well as society.
