In the sections of the novel you have read so far, you have learned a lot about Billie Jo’s life.  You know something about several areas of her life: her birth, her parents, her community, her friends, her relationship with her mother, her passion (the piano), her value system, the kid of life she leads, her views in regard to her parents, her parents’ relationship with each other, and her school life.

 

Your assignment is to choose one of two options:

 

1)    You may write about yourself.  Make sure the audience knows about at least five areas of your life. 

2)   You may write about Billie Jo Kelby and why you would or would not like to have her as a close friend.  Make sure you give at least five reasons for your decision.

 

Your paper should have the following:
