After thinking a lot about finding a poem that expresses who I am, I realized that I needed to shift my focus and find something that students would like. I choose the opening passage in The Twilight Saga's: New Moon by Stephenie Meyer. These are the opening lines in the prologue but they reveal a scene which takes place towards the end of the book. I used garageband for the first time and found it a little difficult to get use to. I found myself paying more attention to fading the sounds in and out then I was to the words I was reading. It took a lot of tries for it to all come together. I used silence, breathing, a heartbeat, and the song, "You Make Me Smile" by Blue October.  |
