About Emilia

Emilia Cornwall is the Second Life® (SL™) persona of Kathy Norris, a ret
ired teacher from Florida.  Emilia was born in SL in 2006, but she was in absentia for a very long time due to computer issues.  She became active again in early 2008 when her company's new SL office on EduIsland II opened.  Emilia respresents the national Senior Project Center at P4DL, Inc. as their technology manager.

Emilia's real life counterpart, Kathy, holds a B.A. in English and Drama from SUNY Potsdam, and an M.S. in Managerial Leadership from National Louis University. She taught high school for more years than she cares to remember, but she is still an educator at heart!

Renaissance Island takes you back to Shakespeare's day, and there are thousands of other great places to visit and enjoy.
