I am looking forward to a great and exciting year of science with you.

Your homework for Wed. 9/9/09 is to tell your family about your first day of school and get all of your forms signed and returned for Thursday.

Parent homework: Please read each form carefully and fill them out/sign them. There are ten forms to review and complete! Forms should all be returned on Thursday, except for the Lifetouch Photo form which should be returned on Monday, whether or not you are purchasing photos.

Great job today on the Think/Pair/Share of rules and procedures!

I am in the process of reading your Science Surveys and I am learning a lot about you.

 

Homework tonight is to make 2 notecards [flash cards] of terms and definitions.

  The terms are science and scientist.

Write the term on one side of the card and the definition on the other side.

You can find the definitions in a dictionary or on the computer.

You may simplify the definition so that it easier to understand and remember.

We will review the homework tomorrow.

Those who have not turned in their forms [please check both sides of each form] should be sure to hand them in on Friday.
