Teaching Philosophy

   In my classroom I desire to create lifelong learners. Focusing not only on the necessities of a well-rounded education, but also on the interests of my students.  I believe in accessing knowledge through creating a context of what we are learning and applying it to my students' lives. Moreover, through the promotion of creativity and critical thought my students will become individuals who are able to think for themselves and pursue their own personal path with their eyes and minds open.
