Hello, friends! I teach Literacy skills in K-2. This is my second year as a Literacy specialist after years in the classroom and private education. I love working with my students and seeing the "light go on" as they progress with their reading skills.
I am originally from Western New York, and have been in sunny North Carolina for 11 years now. I am a huge Buffalo Bills fan, and am still hoping they can win the Superbowl someday. Hey- 5th time's the charm!
I live with my wonderful husband in North Raleigh. We have a schnauzer named Reggie, who is our current 'baby'. However we are expecting our first child in March! We are sooo excited to meet our little one!
I love to read, cook and garden, and my current decorating hobby is getting the nursery ready!
