Remember to continue reading this summer. It is very important that you read each day. If you don't know what kind of books for your child to read follow the "Five Finger Rule". What is that?
1)Allow your child to select a book.
2)Open to any page.
3) Have your child read the page.
4) If he/she makes more than five fingers (count mistakes as they read on their fingers) the book is too hard.
5) Either check that book out or select an easier book.
