Well, it has been a long time since I addressed this page.
Currently we are working on our poetry project. Some of the students have finished their "How to Be" poem about the poet they were assigned. Now we are working on the analysis of the three poems they picked from the works of their poet. After the analysis, we will write the synthesis of these poems. The majority of this will be done in class, though there may be some rough draft writing depending on how produced the students are in class.
Please look at the homework site to be sure you know what your child needs to do to stay on schedule. May students are behind in their classwork and not just in this class. Remember, the term ends on April 2nd, next Friday.
