Holidays!
Room 22 will be having a celebration of friends and traditions on Friday, December 16th. We will start the day with some holiday themed math and language. After recess we will have a White Elephant gift exchange. Students are encouraged to bring something worth $5 or less, and an item from home works just as well. Students that bring a gift will participate in a game while those that did not bring a gift will do another holiday activity.
Groups will eat an early lunch together while we watch The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, the theatrical version of the novel we are currently reading. The movie is rated PG for scenes of peril in battle. Students may bring any snack(s) or lunch item(s) they wish. Groups are encouraged to share with each other in honor of the season.
After cleaning up, students will go home at 1:00, and school will resume again on January 3rd, 2012. If you have any questions or suggestions please feel free to send a note. Thank you, and have a Happy New Year!
