Our class will be participating in a postcard exchange project. This project will provide us with almost 100 postcards sent to us from classes throughout the United States. Using the cards we send and receive, the children will be reviewing and reinforcing reading, geography, writing and math skills.
To participate in this project we will be sending out 100 postcards (99 to the states and 1 to Washington, D.C.) that feature information about Massachusetts, Ashby and our class/school. We will be hand-making these postcards but if you would like to donate any postcards (of Massachusetts or Ashby) or materials to make postcards, that would be greatly appreciated. I am asking if each child could bring in 3 stamps so that we can mail out all of the postcards. This will be a great project for all to enjoy!
