Art should be a open and inviting class where each child is able to create to their own ability. Making decorative soaps helps students work on eye hand coordination, patterning and teaches the properties of wax. At the same time, they have a nice handmade gift for parents.

| Meet Mrs. 'P'
Hey there! I've been teaching art in the Jackson/Clinton area for about thirty years. I'm now teaching fifth and sixth grades at Mt. Salus Christian School http://MtSalus.org and first through seventh at Providence Enrichment School. Using convetional and unconventional methods and many mediums that teach the elements of art, I try to bring out the artist in each student.
