Junior Exhibition is January 19 Welcome to Mrs. Owen's English 11 home page! This year, students in the class will be reading a plethora of American literature - from Native American creation stories, to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and The Great Gatsby, to pieces from more modern times. We'll read poems, speeches, articles, a play (The Crucible), and much more.
Independent reading is an important aspect of the class - be sure you always have something to read for class. You may borrow books from the public or school library, from your friends or family, or from my classroom library - but be prepared to read!
