English 10 Honors is a study of European Literature, intended to prepare students for the rigors of Advanced Placement and International Baccalaureate courses. This class is a fast-paced adventure in reading, writing, speaking, listening, and thinking... be sure to always bring your positive attitude!
First semester literature:
Macbeth, The Prince excerpt, Utopia excerpt, Animal Farm, Anthem, and Pride and Prejudice
Students need a copy of the consumable book Vocabulary from Classical Roots (D); this can be purchased from the library for $11.00, or checked out. There is a vocabulary test each block day beginning October 6/7.
