I have a lot of hobbies! I really enjoy Cycling, Ultimate, Beer, Sking, Being Outside, Books, Movies, Dancing, Building Furniture, Music, Playing Banjo, Traveling and more.
I'll fill in this page with more info as I have time on my different hobbies. I start with my biggest hobbies: cycling. I love bikes, I am constantly building up bikes or fixing old ones. When the weathers nice, I love to go on long road rides, but I also really enjoy shredding on some xc single-track with my friends. Some of my favorite rides in the Boulder area include:

Road Rides:
- Olde Stage road -> Lefthand Canyon -> Lee Hill Road: A quick (~13 mi) ride with some good climbs, out of north Boulder
- Flagstaff: Short and painful, and close to home!
- Fall River/Trail Ridge Road: Not really in Boulder, but one of the most beautiful rides of my life. Be prepared to be climbing on a one way dirt road for the whole way up, and then descending on smooth pavement.
- Coal Creek Canyon: After cycling in Boulder for a solid 2 years, i couldn't believe nobody told me about this ride, it's amazing, and you can taylor the ride to the distance you want to go by coming back via Boulder Creek Canyon (Ned.), Lefthand Canyon (Ward) or make it a complete century by heading to Lyons via St. Vrain canyon.

Mtb Rides:
- Marshall Mesa: Gotta love a series of trails you can ride to from your house!
- West Magnolia: So easy to get lost, but oh so fun.
- Walker Ranch: I find that I want to puke less if I ride clockwise...
- Hall Ranch: Be sure to ride the Hall-Heil connector also!

Bike Maintenance:
A lot of people come to me when they want to fix something on their bike. I do most of my own bike maintenance. I find that you can find video tutorials online if you google almost anything you want to do. Just be patient, and know your limits. There are some things that are non trivial and you can seriously mess up your bike, or get hurt, if you fail. Expect to break some stuff now and then if you're doing all you own maintenance, but trust me, it still comes out cheeper and more rewarding than taking it to a shop for everything. For a comprehensive bike encyclopedia, visit Sheldon Brown's web page, it is hands down the best DYI bike encyclopedia out there.
Bike Shopping:
I also have many people come to me when they're looking for bikes. I figured it's easier to type my advise here.
