Dear Parents and Students,
Welcome to my Web page! It will be a vehicle of information about assignments, activities, projects, reminders, and news for parents of students in my classes. As the year progresses, I hope the page expands to provide more information to all; however, my first goal is to provide weekly assignments and deadlines for students and parents.
One disclaimer, assignments are always subject to change due to unplanned interruptions in the schedule, the need to move at a faster or slower pace based on students' needs, and a spur-of-the-moment opportunity to take advantage of an interesting activity to enhance student learning; therefore, it is essential for students to write each day's homework correctly and completely in their agendas.
Please let me know how I am doing, how useful this site is, and how I can improve it to meet your needs.
Have a great year. Mrs. Murphy (kmurphy@archdiocese-no.org) Note: If you have difficulty clicking and sending an email to me, simply copy and paste this address in your email program.

IMPORTANT !!!
Parents and Students: On Tuesday, the social studies fair topic is due in English class. Students should also have the three major points they will cover in their five paragraph report and copies of the reference materials they have found about each of the three major points.. (Please refer to the link on planning the social studies report for a further explanation.)
We will start the report in class during the week of October 3. Each part of this process counts as an English grade so it is essential that students are prepared for each step as it becomes due.
