- Research colleges and universities online, by requesting printed resources, or through visits.
- Research what high school courses colleges require.
- Keep a record of classes taken, activities, sports, and honors received. These can be entered in the CFNC high school planner.
- Research career possibilities.
- Begin saving money for college.
