Dear Parents and Students:

Please have your child practice typing on a regular basis using the “Dance Mat Typing” program found on the district’s website.  Here’s how to access it:

ü     Log on to the district website:  smusd.us

ü     Find the link that says “libraries” (it’s in the middle of the page in white) – click on it

ü     Click on “Valentine Elementary Library”

ü     Find “Typing Help” (in green) click under it on “Dance Mat Typing”

This should take you directly to the same program that we use in computer lab to practice typing.  I recommend working on this program at least two times a week.  Thanks for your support.
