 Welcome to St. Alphonsus Kindergarten! My goal in Kindergarten is to
help each child fall in love with learning over and over again! Each child's awareness of God’s love, social and emotional skills, formal and informal use of language, and positive self-image will be developed through a loving, nurturing environment.
An integrated and developmentally appropriate curriculum is provided that includes listening, speaking, reading, and writing experiences. I am responsive to each child’s individual differences and I recognize that maturation is an important contributor to learning. I also realize that play experiences are an important part of learning at this stage of development. |
