Hello parents and students! I am looking forward to meeting you next week and learning all about you. I have two dogs, Shiloh and Riley. They like to walk in the woods, chase chipmunks and sleep next to me. Their favorite activity is eating and chewing on dog bones!
 I like hiking in Vermont with my husband James.
 This year in school we will learn about letters and sounds, read books and poems and learn how to write.
 We'll use the story of Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See? by Eric Carle and create our own play.
 | Some parents will come to class and help us cook yummy recipes!
 We'll create books, write our own books and study about how animals live.
 We'll count, compare, measure and record what we learn.
 We'll study authors and their books and create our own versions.
 I can't wait to start Kindergarten with you. See you next week in Room 9!
