Kids Blogging
Check out our Class Blog page. Each day a child in the classroom will write a blog and I will type it in. I am hoping that parents and students will have time to view this to see what your child and teacher are doing. In addition to the class blog, I will be teaching the students how to blog themselves on the kids blog link. This site is very safe, if you don't have an account, you can't read or write in the blog. All posts and comments will first come to me, and I have to approve before any of the students can see what others have written. If there seems to be an inappropriate comment, I will not approve it. Hopefully this will be a fun way for the students to safely communicate with each other outside of school.

The students in our classroom collected over 100 food items to be sent to the Hawkeye Harvest Food Bank of North Iowa! The entire Harding Elementary student body collected over 1,000 items this year!! Way to go Harding students! That was just amazing and I am so proud of the students, their parents and the staff at Harding Elementary.
Another thing to be thankful for is all the toys for tots that were collected! 95 toys were collected this year! The 4th grade students went to each classroom and read The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein. The students at Harding are such a nice group of students who truly care about others. They will make some very fine adults in the future.
