Our class has 2 major goals this year. Our first goal is achieving a high rate of Perfect Attendance. It is very important for each child to be at school each and every day. Students with Perfect Attendance will be rewarded each six weeks with a Popcorn and Movie Party. Students with Perfect Attendance each week will be rewarded with 15 minutes of free outdoor play every Friday afternoon. Our Third Grade Cluster is currently thinking about a reward for students that have Perfect Attendance for the entire school year. I challenge all my students to strive to achieve this ultimate goal!

Our second goal is to achieve  100% Passing on our Reading and Math TAKS test. Every 3rd grader will be taking a Reading and a Math TAKS test.  In order to achieve this, emphasis will be placed on reading and math.  We will be reading class chapter books,  read individual A.R. books, and use reading passages that tie in to each subject. Students should also read daily at home. Students should begin practicing their multiplication facts at home.
