Please note what a privilege it is to earn a Bulldog Best Award and there are some guidelines that Burnett follows in choosing which students receive Bulldog Best awards. 

Below are some of the guidelines:

  • 1/3 of your class can receive awards (about 8-10 students)
  • Student must be consistent with an award title throughout the trimester
  • Based off of teacher observations of going above and beyond
  • If students win an award title once, they are not eligible to win the award for the rest of that school year (exceptions are sometimes given to the award of Academic Achievement).

Also remember…class size differs greatly between third and fourth grade.  In fourth grade there is more competition to earn that award!

 

 

 

Trimester 1

Principal's Honor Roll-

-GPA 3.5-4.0

-No U's, N's, D's, or F's in all academic areas or effort/citizenship

 Honor Roll-

-GPA of 3.0-3.49

-No U's, N's, D's, or F's in academic areas or effort/citizenship
