Overdue and Lost Library Books

A library book may be checked out for one week. 
It will be due on the student's library day.
A book may be renewed (book must be presented).
 
Fines for late library books = .05 per school day.
(Student is allowed 1 week grace period before fine is assessed.)
Overdue books must be returned and fines paid before further checkout of books.
 
If a book is lost, the student will be charged the price of the book.

FANTASY: Any novel that is disconnected from reality. Often such novels are set in nonexistent worlds, such as under the earth, in a fairyland, on the moon, etc. The characters are often something other than human or include nonhuman characters.

 

Popular fantasy novels include the Harry Potter books by J. K. Rowling, The Spiderwick Chronicles by Tony DiTerlizzi,  A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket, and the Narnia Chronicles, by C. S. Lewis.
