Teaching Philosophy:

I strongly support a positive relationship between parents and the school.  Students will be active participants in their own learning this year and will be expected to exercise self-responsibility.  I have very high standards set for learning and behavior and look forward to helping your child set goals, self-evaluate, and build knowledge in a variety of subject areas.

Students will develop our social contract collaboratively and this will dictate the expectations for behavior in our classroom.  They will also develop consequences for behavior that does not comply with our social contract. 

I strive to address your child’s individual needs and strongly believe in consistency and fairness.  I encourage students to make well informed choices and to take responsibility for their actions.  I will provide a positive as well as a challenging environment where your child will be driven to make significant academic progress.  If you need to get in contact with me for any reason, please email me at cgreene@wcpss.net.
