CEREMONY
We haven't quite finalized plans yet, but we're hoping to have our ceremony at the Public Garden. When we lived in Boston, we used to take walks down to the Garden all the time, so it has some significance to us.
I've been super inspired by knottie Ms. Wan (pictures from Yun Gen Yang photography):
I"d like to use this idea of a makeshift aisle by way of rope and ribbon
I love this photo! The water and the trees in the background (weeping willows?) just make the area so beautiful.
Here's another view of Ms. Wan's rope and ribbon aisle that I'd love to recreate
If we do decide to have the ceremony at the Garden, it will start at 5pm. It will be very short, so we'll have time to have a receiving line at the Garden.
TRANSPORTATION
After the receiving line, we've booked a trolley to take the guests from the public garden to the castle (and stick around to take them back to the hotels at the end of the night). It's the same trolley company that Ms. Wan used, so I stole some more pics from her :)
RECEPTION

Okay the official name is simply "The Castle at Boston University." A graceful, vine-covered Tudor Revival mansion, the Castle was originally built as a residence for William Lindsey, a prominent Boston businessman. The building ranks as one of Boston's most picturesque structures and was cited by architectural historian Bainbridge Bunting in his Houses of Boston's Back Bay as displaying “the most convincing medieval effect of the area.”
