9/11 - During class we went over p. 197 - 212. Key terms/concepts covered included the difference between sensation and perception, top down & bottom up processing, understanding the different types of thresholds including the key term Weber's Law, sensory adaptation and we began vision attempting to understand the how we sense color. Do you know the difference between a short and a long wave and great and small amplitude?
HW is listed on the calendar.
9/12 - Your homework over the weekend in addition to what is listed on your calendar is to complete a PsychSim module on the following website above. You will need to create a log in. At the end a message should be sent to my e-mail at school colleen.davis@oldham.kyschools.us confirming the completion of the assignment. Since you have the entire weekend to do this, with ample time to find accomodations if you do not have internet, it will be considered late if you do not complete the assignment by 8:30 am on Monday morning.
