Welcome to our 3E web page.  Please remember that the third grade will be performing at the PTA general meeting on Wednesday, Nov. 10.  Students should be brought to school by 5:45 and we will gather in the large learning court.  Students may wear a red, white, or blue shirt and blue jeans or a denim skirt.

About Mrs. Dakolios
    This will be my 33rd year of teaching and my 8th year at Kohlberg.  I graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska-Omaha.  I taught in Nebraska and Ohio before moving to El Paso.
    My husband and I have two sons.  One is a high school English teacher in North Carolina and the other is a high school Math teacher in Virginia. 
 
 
 
 

 

Classroom Rules
1.  COME TO CLASS PREPARED
    Have all necessary supplies and books.  Be ready to work.
2.  LISTEN AND FOLLOW DIRECTIONS THE FIRST TIME.
3.  RESPECT THE RIGHTS OF OTHERS.
    Keep hands, feet and objects to yourself.
4.  LISTEN WHEN OTHERS ARE SPEAKING.
    Raise your hand and wait to be called on.
 
Mrs. Dakolios's Chip Program
1.  Each student will receive three "D chips" at the beginning of every day.
2.  A student who does not follow a rule will lose a chip.
3.  A student with all three chips turned in at the end of the day will receive a sticker on the "rewards" chart and a small prize.
4.  A student with one or two chips turned in at the end of the day will receive a sticker on the "rewards" chart.
5.  A student with no chips left who does not follow a rule will receive a lunch detention.
6.  If a student continues to not follow the rules, there will be a parent phone call or conference followed by a conference with the principal, if necessary.
