On September 16, 2009, AP U.S. History students will be traveling to Memphis, TN.  While in Memphis, students will tour Rhodes College and meet with the Director of Admissions.  Students will also eat lunch at Rhodes.  (lunch is included in the trip fee)  Students will also tour the National Civil Rights Museum, built around the Lorraine Motel, where Martin Luther King, Jr., was assassinated.  We will leave Florence High School at 7:00 a.m. and return at 7:00 p.m.  The cost of the trip is $42.50, and this includes the cost of lunch.  An itinerary is attached.
