Thanks for stopping by!  My name is Jennifer Brower.  I am a general elementary teacher that has recently achieved a Masters of Library Science with a Certification as Teacher of Library and Media through IUPUI's School of Library and Information Science. 

I have taught second grade, K-5 computer lab, and fifth grade.  I have spent the most time in fifth grade, yet each year brings fresh ideas, new activities, and more challenges.  I do not think any teacher can ever say they have truly figured it all out.  Change is constant.  Learning is forever.

Pursuing my certification and graduate degree has been one of the best decisions that I have made.  Studying to be a media specialist has made me a better teacher; teaching in the elementary will help me become a better media specialist.  What many people do not understand is that a true media specialist IS an educator.  See Definition of a Media Specialist for more information.
